      <abstract xml:lang="ru">
        <p>Цель. Цель работы – анализ пространственной изменчивости концентрации хлорофилла a (TChl-a) и спектральных показателей поглощения света пигментами фитопланктона (aph(λ)), определение зависимости aph(λ) от TChl-a в диапазоне длин волн от 400 до 700 нм с шагом 2 нм для разных слоев зоны фотосинтеза.</p>
        <p>Методы и результаты. Исследования выполнены в августе – сентябре 2023 г. на 79 станциях. Пробы воды отбирали батометрами, концентрацию хлорофилла a определяли спектрофотометрически, спектральные показатели поглощения – на увлажненных стекловолокнистых фильтрах с использованием интегрирующей сферы. Вертикальную структуру анализировали по данным CTD, флуоресценции хлорофилла a и фотосинтетически активной радиации (PAR). Выделены верхний квазиоднородный слой (UML) и нижележащие слои до глубин с 1 и 0,1 % PAR. Параметризация выполнена степенной функцией aph(λ) = A(λ) · TChl-aB(λ) для двух слоев зоны фотосинтеза и нижележащего слоя. TChl-a в поверхностном слое варьировала от 0,7 до 14 мг·м-3 в Тихом океане и от 0,87 до 8,9 мг·м-3 в Охотском море. Выявлено четыре типа вертикального профиля TChl-a, обусловленных стратификацией вод и поступлением биогенных элементов. Коэффициенты A(438) и A(675) для UML составили 0,058 и 0,023 м2·мг-1; для слоя между UML и границей зоны фотосинтеза – 0,043 и 0,020 м2·мг-1. Показано, что удельное поглощение aph*(λ) при одинаковой освещенности снижается с ростом TChl-a, что связано с увеличением степени упаковки пигментов с ростом доли крупноклеточных видов в фитопланктоне.</p>
        <p>Выводы. Впервые для исследуемой акватории выполнена параметризация поглощения света пигментами фитопланктона в диапазоне длин волн от 400 до 700 нм (с разрешением в 2 нм) для двух слоев в зоне фотосинтеза и нижележащего слоя. Выявлены статистически значимые различия коэффициентов параметризации между слоями. Полученные зависимости могут быть использованы для восстановления спектров aph(λ) по TChl-a, что необходимо для оценки фотосинтетических характеристик фитопланктона и расчета первичной продукции спектральным методом, а также для разработки региональных спутниковых алгоритмов и организации оперативного мониторинга продуктивности вод вблизи полуострова Камчатка.</p>

      <trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
        <p>Purpose. The purpose of the study is to analyse the spatial variability of chlorophyll a concentration (TChl-a) and spectral coefficients of light absorption by phytoplankton (aph(λ)), as well as to determine the relationship between aph(λ) and TChl-a in the wavelength range from 400 to 700 nm with the 2 nm step for different layers of the euphotic zone.</p>
        <p>Methods and Results. The research was carried out at 79 stations in August – September, 2023. Water samples were collected using the Niskin bottles, chlorophyll a concentration was determined spectrophotometrically, and spectral absorption coefficients were measured on the moistened glass fiber filters using an integrating sphere. The vertical structure was analysed based on the CTD data, chlorophyll a fluorescence, and photosynthetically available radiation (PAR). The upper mixed layer (UML) and the underlying layers down to the depths with 1 and 0.1 % of PAR have been identified. The parameterization was done using a power function aph(λ) = A(λ) · TChl-aB(λ) for two layers of the euphotic zone and the underlying layer. TChl-a in the surface layer varied within 0.7–14 mg·m−3 in the Pacific Ocean and within 0.87–8.9 mg·m−3 in the Sea of Okhotsk. Four types have been identified. Their formation is a result of water stratification, its location within euphotic zone and nutrient supply. The coefficients А(438) and А (675) were 0.058 and 0.023 m²·mg⁻¹ for UML, and 0.043 and 0.020 m²·mg⁻¹ for the layer between UML and the bottom of the euphotic zone. It was shown that at the same light intensity, the chlorophyll a specific absorption coefficient a*ph (λ) decreased with increasing TChl-a, which was related to the stronger pigment package effect as the proportion of large-celled species in phytoplankton increased.</p>
        <p>Conclusions. For the first time, parameterization of light absorption by phytoplankton for the study area is done within the 400–700 nm range (with the 2 nm step) for two layers in the euphotic zone and for the underlying one. Statistically significant differences between the parameterization coefficients of these layers are revealed. The obtained relationships can be used to retrieve the aph(λ) spectra from TChl-a, that is necessary for assessing the photosynthetic characteristics of phytoplankton and determining primary production using the spectral method, as well as for developing the regional satellite algorithms and operational monitoring of water productivity off the Kamchatka Peninsula.</p>
